As managing partner, he made a significant contribution to the development and economic success of the company founded by his father Jakob Schmidbauer.
Through his technical expertise he laid the foundation for the development of the heavy lift business which is so important for Schmidbauer.
After his retirement from operational activities, he supported the management for many years in his function as an advisory board with advice and deed.
