Schmidbauer becomes a member of EEHH - the industry network for future energies

The German energy transition - a success story. From around six percent in 2000, the share of renewable energies in electricity consumption grew to more than 46 percent in 2020. Northern Germany is taking on a central role in the expansion of sustainable electricity generation and transmission. As a central regional industry network for energy systems of the future, the Renewable Energies Hamburg (EEHH) industry network has been offering ideal networking and information opportunities for interested players since fall 2010. In addition to wind energy, solar energy, heat and sector coupling as well as a green hydrogen economy represent the core pillars of the cluster's work.

The EEHH bundles current information on national and international developments, as well as on its own projects, conducts conferences and realizes interesting supporting programs at the renowned industry trade fairs for its members. It also organizes annual meeting points with keynote speeches, offers specialist workshops and webinars, and organizes the "German Renewables Award" and, together with DNV GL, the "HOW" (Hamburg Offshore Wind Conference). In addition, the EEHH cluster commissions studies and prepares industry expertise in close cooperation with several research institutions of northern German universities.

Around 200 well-known national and international companies from financing, research, production and project development in the Hamburg area, such as Siemens Gamesa, Vattenfall, RWE, TÜV Nord, Lufthansa and many more, are members of the EEHH cluster.

To be actively involved in the energy transition and to be available as a competent partner for moving heavy loads, we have also joined the network and will be represented in the cluster as an active member from January 1, 2022. Because we go along with the new age, see ourselves committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, and are pleased to be able to regularly participate in renewable energy projects to "make a difference in the movement" in the truest sense.
