In mid-April, our team assembled two construction cranes on behalf of the customers Nagel and Zech on the premises of Hilti Deutschland AG in Kaufering. This was the first time that the new LTM 1230-5.1 was put to work. The assembly of two LH 280 EC-H construction cranes was originally planned with a 300-ton mobile crane, but with the given load capacity, mast length and our experience, it could be mastered with a 230-tonner. A particular challenge was to lift the 13.5 tons with a hook height of 64 meters. In the end, the two construction cranes were successfully mounted in part on gantries, and thanks to our new addition in this segment, we are once again optimally prepared to meet your challenges.
